Baked Apple Fries

These are a tasty snack and easy to make and super fun to eat. You can eat them plain or with yogurt. Can also be paired with a savory dish with pork or chicken.

Ingredients

  • 4 apples
  • 1/3 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/3 granulated sugar (white or brown or a mix of both)
  • 1.5 tsp of cinnamon

Feel free to experiment with cardamom

Directions

  1. Peel
  2. In a large bowl combine all ingredients
  3. add apples and mix and toss
  4. spread apple slices on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper
  5. Bake at 450F for 15-20 min until browned and tender
