Easy Apple Pie
Ingredients
- 1 pkg frozen or refrigerated pie crusts
- 6 cups thinly peeled and sliced (approx. 6 medium) apples
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 tbsp flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 3/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp nutmeg
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
Directions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C)
- In large bowl
- Spoon evenly into pie crust.
- Top with second crust; wrap excess top crust under bottom crust edge.
- Press edges together to seal
- Bake 40 to 50 minutes or until apples are tender
- **Cover edge of crust with strips of foil after first 15 minutes of baking**"
