Granny Smith Apple Puffed Pancake

Serves: 8

Ingredients

  • 2 cups peeled and thinly sliced Granny Smith apples
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 6 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • Pinch salt
  • 3 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp cinnamon
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • Maple syrup

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F. In a bowl: milk + salt – whisk until smooth.

  5. Arrange apple slices on top and sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar mixture. Bake 20 minutes or until golden and puffed.
  6. Serve with maple syrup or your favourite flavoured syrup.
